This Fox News clip from June suggests a link between infant deaths in Philadelphia and the elevated levels of iodine-131 detected in the Schuylkill River and Wissahickon Creek. The explosion at the Fukushima nuclear power plant, says one source, is to blame. Fortunately, this report was discredited and Fox was given a cease-and-desist order. Unfortunately, the clip survives on the Internet. No link between infant mortality rates and iodine-131 levels in Philadelphia has been established.
